How to Order WEDOS/VEDOS Hosting from Anywhere in Europe (2026)

VEDOS (formerly WEDOS) is the largest Czech hosting provider — and one of the cheapest serious options in the EU. The catch people expect (“it’s Czech, ordering must be painful”) doesn’t exist: English interface, EUR prices, any EU card works. Here’s the whole process, step by step.

Step 1: Pick a plan

For most websites we recommend NoLimit — unlimited SSD storage with SSL and e-mail included:

PlanBest forFirst year*Renewal (incl. VAT)
LowCostmicro site€1.27/mo~€2.49/mo
NoLimitwebsites, blogs€1.43/mo€4.44/mo
Extrae-shops, bigger projects€3.80/mo€9.20/mo

* with the public coupon LOWCOST / NOLIMIT / EXTRA entered at checkout. Always verify current pricing on the site.

This is what step 1 of the hosting order looks like (seven steps total: basic information, settings, login, domain owner, billing, operator, finalize):

VEDOS webhosting order — step 1: plan selection, add-on services, gifts and discount code field
The webhosting order (July 2026): plan selection, the Gifts section with a free domain, and the discount code field.

Two little-known bonuses:

  1. A free domain as a gift — the Gifts section lets you pick a free domain with your hosting (.cz, .eu, .online, .tech and more). Careful: gifts can’t be combined with most discount codes — do the math on coupon NOLIMIT vs. the free domain for your TLD.
  2. Switching from a competitor: up to 2 years free — VEDOS adds twice your remaining prepaid period at the old host for free (documented with the competitor’s invoice).

Step 2: Add a domain

Enter your domain in the hosting order: register a new one right there (check availability first with our free domain checker), or use a domain you already own and just point DNS after activation (step 6).

VEDOS domain order — step 1: domain selection, hosting choice and add-on services
The domain order: you pick hosting right in step 1. Note the pre-ticked EWM Monitoring add-on — and the free WEDOS Protection Starting plan worth keeping.

Step 3: Create your account & billing details

First-time customers create an account (e-mail + password). Fill in real billing details — domains are registered to them and invoices are issued from them. Businesses: enter your EU VAT ID to get reverse-charge invoicing.

Step 4: Coupon, add-ons & payment

  1. Enter the coupon (NOLIMIT for the NoLimit plan) into the Discount Code field right in the order form and hit Apply Code — the price recalculates instantly.
  2. Review the add-on services: the order tends to have EWM Monitoring (a small monthly fee) pre-ticked — untick it if you don’t want it. On the other hand, WEDOS Protection offers a Free (Starting) plan — worth keeping ticked.
  3. Switch the currency selector (top right) to EUR.
  4. Pay by card for the fastest activation — regular EU cards, Wise and Revolut all work. Confirmation and access credentials arrive by e-mail; hosting is typically active within minutes.

Ordering a domain? You’ll go through six steps: Select Domain → Settings → Login/Register → Domain Owner → Billing Information → Finalize. You pick hosting right inside the domain order (WordPress NoLimit WP comes with a free 30-day trial).

Step 5: First login

The client administration runs at client.wedos.com (switchable to English): hosting details (FTP, databases), domain management, e-mail boxes and invoices. It’s function-over-form — everything is there, just without the gloss.

Step 6: Point your domain & deploy

Then deploy: one-click WordPress installer, or upload files via FTP. E-mail on your own domain (5 GB mailhosting) is included free — create mailboxes in the administration.

Why we recommend this setup

We run European infrastructure ourselves and the honest math is simple: same LAMP stack, EU jurisdiction, a fraction of Western European prices. Full context in our EU hosting & sovereignty guide; protection layer for serious sites in the WEDOS Protection review.

Frequently asked questions

Can I order VEDOS hosting if I don't speak Czech?

Yes. Product pages and the ordering flow are available in English (vedos.cz/en/), prices are shown in EUR, and the client administration at client.wedos.com works in English too.

Which payment methods work from other EU countries?

Standard debit/credit cards work fine, including Wise and Revolut cards. You pay in EUR, so there are no currency-conversion surprises. Bank transfer is also available; card activation is fastest.

Can my company claim reverse-charge VAT?

Yes — enter your EU VAT ID in the billing details during checkout. Valid VAT-registered EU businesses outside Czechia are invoiced under the reverse-charge mechanism.

Why order from a Czech provider at all?

Price and parameters: unlimited SSD storage with e-mail and SSL from €1.43/month (€4.44 renewal) has no real equivalent in most EU markets — and the whole stack stays under EU jurisdiction.
